Russell Long is a Guitarist/Vocalist from Southern California. He travels throughout the West Coast, sharing classic songs at different venues, shows, and events. Honing in on his own versions of 60s and 70s rock/folk/americana/soul tunes, and continuing to write and share his own material inspired by that same musical history.
Russell plays a wide range of songs from classic artists, with a special interest in the music of The Grateful Dead. He has been playing regularly at restaurants, bars, weddings, parties, proposals, and corporate events for the last 10 years. He can be seen playing mostly solo and also with his band, The Great North Special.
With an expanding catalog of over 500 songs, Russell is able to create the perfect soundscape background and entertainment for your guests. He plays weekly at various venues in OC and LA, and is always looking for new bookings.
